Attended study session on patent machine translation

There seems to be study sessions on patent machine translation starting. I received an invitation, so I went to check it out. I think I got a grasp of how machine translation is taken not only among translation companies but also in patent industry. There were some patent attorneys among attendants, and they seem to be familiar with machine translation. Their plan was to try and evaluate multiple engines. The event is by invitation only, so I can't mention who was there, but they mentioned that the number of participants will increase in the future. I would like to participate in all of their future events.
